I Diamond Report ★ The International Gemmological Institute is the oldest of its kind in Antwerp. Built in 1975, its laboratories are located in New York, Bangkok, Mumbai and Tokyo.

IGI is the world's largest gemstone (bare diamond) grading and evaluation agency and is now the largest and independent gem identification and evaluation agency.

The IGI Diamond Report is primarily a statement of the authenticity of the diamond, which provides a reliable and accurate report on the identity and grade of the diamond in an internationally recognized method. Each diamond is scientifically analyzed by several gemologists who combine their experience with the latest equipment to accurately describe the characteristics of the diamond and the quality of the cut. All details are described in an understandable language so that the different qualities of the diamond can be truly appreciated.

The grade or quality of a diamond is based on four aspects and is usually described as 4C: carat, color, clarity and cut. These four aspects are analyzed and described in the ICI Diamond Report.
