Laundry, take the ravine, wash the barber shop, towel, sewage, corrosive poisonous fish

The sewage in a laundry shop in Dongpingshan is discharged after a little precipitation. What makes people even more surprised is that the water for washing towels and sheets comes from the nearby ravine. The owner said that there are more than 10 barber shop towels to wash here.
The storefront complained that the towel washed by the temporary building was directly placed on the ground. A member of the Dongpingshan Society illegally set up a small factory to wash towels, quilts, tablecloths, etc., and the sewage was directly discharged into a fish pond, resulting in a fish pond. Being contaminated.
Last week, the reporter followed the staff of the Siming District Environmental Protection Bureau to find the laundry and found that the store was on the back side of the house. It was indeed built on a temporary basis. But the store is certified, with a business license and tax registration certificate on the wall, and the issuance time is 2009.
The shop is washed, aired, and stacked in one place. There are 6 washing machines on the side, with unwashed towels on the side, two workers on the inside are washing the towels, and some are placed directly on the ground; the rows of bamboo rafts are lined up overhead, with towels, bath towels and sheets.
Outside the temporary building, there are also rows of towels hanging with bamboo poles. Towels vary in color, blue, purple, brown, etc. The owner, Ms. Zhong, said that towels and bath towels come from barbershops and pedicure shops, and the sheets are neighbors.
“How many towels can I wash in one day?” For the reporter’s question, Ms. Zhong said that she had not counted. But a small blackboard in the house records: date June 7, 2011, "Qiaofeng 107, Gufeng 70, Aishang 87..." Ms. Chung said that she usually provides washing towels for more than 10 barbershops.
Sewage contains "sodium hypophosphite"
How is the discharge directly to the fish pond sewage discharged? Ms. Zhong said that the sewage was discharged through three sedimentation tanks.
The reporter saw that there are indeed three small pools in the drainage area, and the gauze is placed on the top, and the tail end of the water outlet pipe is placed on the gauze. The sewage is pale yellow, the pool is full, and there is continuous overflow of sewage.
“When washing clothes, what do you add?” Ms. Zhong replied: “Only add detergent, nothing else.” But the reporter was next to the washing machine and found a blue bucket with the “sodium hypophosphite” logo. Several identical buckets, just not labeled. At this time, Ms. Zhong added that this is acid oxygen water, used for germicidal bleaching. Except this, nothing else. Because there is no sewage pipe network in the village, she can only discharge this way.
The staff of Siming Environmental Protection Bureau said that sodium hypophosphite is corrosive, and this treatment method is unlikely to meet the standard.
Ms. Zhong stressed that the amount of washing powder used is less than that of households, because towels are used in barbershops and are not dirty. "Sodium hypophosphite" is only used for white towels and is not used much. Sewage does not flow to the downstream fish ponds.
The reporter looked at the scene and found that the facts were contrary to what Ms. Chung said. The sewage flows along the terrain to the downstream fish pond. The owner of the fish pond told reporters that in the last two months, a lot of fish died in the fish pond. He also caught one on the spot and the fish was covered with red spots. He said that dead fish are like this and think it is related to pollution.
The lack of well water in the village was taken from the ditch and washed the towel. After a field visit, I accidentally discovered that the water used in this store actually came from a ditch.
In order to get the water in the ditch, the store has set up hundreds of meters of water pipes and wires, one end connected to the water storage tank on the washing machine, one end connected with the discarded oil drum, the oil drum is large, and the small submersible pump can be accommodated. There are two discarded oil drums hidden in the small ditch, and the one used for water intake is under the water grass, which is difficult to find in the distance.
The reporter called Ms. Zhong, she admitted that the submersible pump was actually placed in the oil drum of the ditch, and the water used in the laundry came from this small ditch. As for how long it took, she could not tell. She said that it is generally pumped at night. Because in the morning, people in the village will go there to wash clothes, and it will be cloudy during the day and clean at night. As for whether the washing is hygienic, she said, there is no way, lack of water, not to mention the people in the village are washing clothes here.
Ms. Chung said that her laundry had originally extracted the well water from the village. Recently, the water in this well was needed for the construction of the Dongpingshan Reservoir, resulting in a lack of well water. However, the construction has not been used well recently, and she will discuss the use of well water with the village.
The reporter asked the reporter for evidence. The reporter said that two months ago, he found that the shop was pumping ravine water. The water shortage in the village is a fact.
The Siming District Environmental Protection Bureau said it will collect the drainage water samples from this store for testing. As for the hygiene situation of this laundry, the relevant departments have yet to go to the investigation.
