Liaoning first discovered the prehistoric jade unearthed from the Anzishan Mountain

The reporter learned from the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on the 27th that the institute has completed the first archaeological excavation of the Anzishan Jishi in Dalian, Liaoning Province, and unearthed nearly 200 Neolithic artifacts, including three extremely precious jade.

Jishi is a burial form prevailing in the Neolithic Age in northeastern China. It is generally built on the top of a hill. It is built with stone tombs and stone blocks. It has the feeling of a mountain and has a sacrificial function.

It is reported that starting from September 2014, the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Liaoning Provincial Institute of Archaeology have carried out the first rescue excavation of the Anzishan jacquard, which has basically ended. In the area of 6,000 square meters, 42 tombs were excavated and the whole was distributed in a grid.

The artifacts unearthed from the stone include 51 pieces of pottery, 42 pieces of jade, and 36 pieces of stone. Among them, pottery can be divided into two categories, one is a folding can, a lip canister, etc., and the other is a three-legged, single-cup, etc., representing the Longshan culture of the Jiaodong Peninsula.

"We found three unique cockroaches at the archaeological site, which is very rare." Jia Xiaobing, a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that cockroaches are also called gingiva, and there are three teeth on the outer edge that fly in the same direction. The spacing is roughly equal. There is an oval waist hole in the middle. It is said that it bears astronomical use in ancient times, which indicates that the stone is high in level and the master position is prominent.

It has been verified that the site appeared in the late Neolithic period 4,000 years ago and belongs to the prehistoric civilization period in Northeast China. Since the stone was not built with a lot of manpower and material resources, it was also a sign of the progress of the social organization system at that time.

This excavation shows that Dalian, as the birthplace of important civilizations in Northeast China, provides a basis for studying the social development and customs of the Neolithic Age in the region. It is also a major discovery of the prehistoric cultural exchanges between the Liaodong Peninsula and the Jiaodong Peninsula in the Chinese archaeological community. .
